- Morning Headaches: Frequent headaches upon waking, often linked to disrupted sleep patterns;
- Dry Mouth or Sore Throat: Waking up with a dry mouth or sore throat due to breathing through the mouth during sleep;
- Decreased Libido: Reduced interest in sexual activity, which may be associated with sleep disturbances;
- Nocturia: Frequent urination during the night, disrupting sleep;

The Lamberg Sleep-Well™ Oral Appliance: A Healthy, Dentist-Designed Alternative to CPAP
At Dental Health & Wellness of Long Island, we offer a treatment that not only targets the root cause of your OSA but does it in a way that supports your health rather than compromising it.
- The Lamberg Sleep-Well™ oral appliance works with your own dental anatomy to keep your airway open for the entirety of your sleep;
- It doesn’t let your jaw, tongue, or the soft tissues in your throat collapse and block your breathing;
- It gradually moves your lower jaw into a forward position so your throat muscles can’t close off your upper airway—which is the number one reason for obstructive sleep apnea;
- No awkward straps, no noise, no need for power outlets—just a small device that does its job without getting in the way of your life.
2-Step Process to Receive Our Oral Appliance Therapy
Step 1
Visit Dr. Steven Lamberg at Dental Health & Wellness of Long Island to determine if the Lamberg Sleep-Well™ appliance is the right fit for you. The initial consultation will involve a thorough evaluation of your symptoms, oral structures, and medical history.
Step 2
If the appliance is appropriate for you, we will take digital impressions of your mouth to customize the appliance just for you. After two to three weeks, you will return to the office for a fitting.
Results: Most of our patients start to notice improvements within the first few nights. You might wake up feeling more rested, with fewer interruptions during the night. Give it three to four weeks to reap all the benefits as your body adjusts to the new way of sleeping.
Discover Better Sleep Without CPAP
Dr. Lamberg engineered the Lamberg Sleep-Well™ appliance with one goal in mind: that OSA patients notice a drastic reduction in the symptoms that have been dragging them down:
- No more daytime drowsiness or struggles to stay awake;
- No more brain fog;
- No more dry mouth or sore throat;
- No more nagging headaches every morning;
- No more constantly waking up with gasping or choking;
- No more having to visit the bathroom multiple times throughout the night;
- Reduced or complete freedom from snoring.
Instead of feeling groggy and exhausted, you will wake up feeling like you actually slept—because you did! With better sleep comes more energy during the day. You might find that your mood improves too, because you’re no longer running on empty.
